Classroom Rules
Mrs. King’s Discipline Plan
CLASS EXPECTATIONS
1. VALUE other people and their Voice.
Don’t talk while others are speaking. BE A GOOD LISTENER!
2. RESPECT - Respect YOURSELF and OTHERS.
3. WORK productively while doing your BEST.
DISCIPLINE EXPECTATIONS:
I use the Give Em Five Responsibility- Centered Discipline
in my classroom.
CLASS POINTS
In conjunction with Give Em Five, I use a points system to reinforce positive behavior in my classroom.
Positive Individual Rewards:
When an adult, myself or others, sees a student making a positive choice,
students are rewarded with a GOOD JOB ticket. The student will sign it and turn it into a basket and a name will be drawn each Friday. The student may choose one prize from the prize box.
Positive Class Rewards:
When an adult, OTHER THAN MYSELF, sees the class as a whole making positive choices, the class is given a POINTS ticket. Each ticket is worth 2 points for the class. Once the class has reached 10 points, the WHOLE class chooses a reward. ( Reward options can be: movie day, extra recess, art, snack day…..)
SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS: ABC’s of Northside
A- Act Responsibly
B- Be Respectful
C- Care for Self and Others.
